Delete Your Account

How to delete from the app

1. Open Afiyets and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm.
3. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you'll be asked to sign in once more to confirm it's you. Guest accounts skip this step.

Your account and its data are deleted straight away. There's no waiting period.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in
• Every place on your list, including places you've imported and places held back by your plan's limit
• Your rankings, head-to-head matchups and visit history
• Notes and photos you've added to places
• Your usage counters, such as Discover runs
• Feedback you've sent us from the app

Photos you've uploaded are removed at the same time. In rare cases, if our storage provider has a temporary problem, this can take a few hours to finish; it's retried automatically until it does.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent. We can't recover your places or rankings afterwards. You can create a new account any time, but it starts empty.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Plus and Pro are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel there first, or you'll keep being charged. See how to cancel.
• Deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your account. Use the steps above.

What isn't held by us

Purchase records for Plus and Pro are kept by Apple or Google as part of your store account, and by our payments provider for accounting, as the law requires. Usage analytics are collected under a pseudonymous ID and kept by our analytics providers under their own retention periods. See our privacy policy for details.
