What happens when you delete your account

When you request account deletion, we permanently remove the following data from our systems:

• Your profile information (name, email, photo)
• Your restaurant rankings and comparisons
• Your personal food map and saved places
• Your friend connections on Afiyets
• Your notification preferences and settings

How long does it take?

Account deletion is processed within 30 days of your request. During this period, your account is immediately deactivated and hidden from other users. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers.

Before you delete

Please note:

• This action is irreversible — we cannot recover your rankings, map, or connections after deletion
• If you've contributed to shared recommendations, your name will be removed but anonymized aggregate data may remain
• You can always create a new account, but your previous data will not be recoverable

How to delete from the app

Open Afiyets → Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Follow the confirmation steps in the app.
